New Grant - Fluctuations in Mentalizing in Borderline Personality Disorder

New Grant: Fluctuations in Mentalizing and their Contribution to Emotion Dysregulation in the Daily Lives of Individuals with Borderline Personality Disorder 
July 2020
Dr. Kivity was awarded a 5-year grant from the Israel Science Foundation. The project aims at developing methods to evaluate fluctuations in mentalizing using Ecological Momentary Assessments (EMA) and their contribution to emotion dysregulation in the daily lives of individuals with borderline personality disorder. In addition, the project will develop and evaluate
a translational, personalized intervention for mentalizing enhancement in daily life.

New Grant - Automatic Assessment of Mentalizing

New Grant: Learning to Automatically Assess the Capacity for Mentalizing in Clinical Interviews via Natural Language Processing and Machine Learning Techniques  
March 2020
In collaboration with Prof. Reut Tsarfaty from the Department of Computer Science, Dr. Kivity was awarded a grant from Bar Ilan's Data Science Institute. The project aims at developing an algorithm for computerized and automatic assessment of mentalizing using natural language processing and machine learning techniques.
