Completed her B.A. in Psychology and Education at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem and her M.A. in Clinical Children’s Psychology at Bar-Ilan University.
Leeav is interested in researching and developing possible short-term interventions to enhance mentalization abilities for patients with borderline personality disorder.
Currently, Leeav coordinates the psychology Department's community clinic at Bar-Ilan University.
Rotem Moshe
PhD Student
Rotem completed her B.A. in Psychology and Criminology at Bar-Ilan University and her M.A. in Clinical Psychology at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
Rotem is interested in associations among mental state vacillations, mentalizing and emotion regulation in patients with borderline personality disorder.
Shir Basson
PhD Student
Shir completed her B.A. in Psychology and Education at Ben- Gurion University of the Negev and her M.A. in Child Clinical Psychology at Haifa University of Jerusalem.
Shir is interested in the role of comorbid post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) in impairments in mentalizing among individuals with borderline personality disorder.
Noa Steinberg
PhD Student
I am currently a PhD student in the Psychology Department at Bar-Ilan University.
As part of my PhD, I am involved in research that aims to explore mindfulness and mentalizing processes in the daily lives of individuals with borderline personality disorder (BPD) using momentary assessments. This research examines the relationship between mindfulness and mentalizing and their contribution to BPD symptoms. Additionally, I am interested in mindfulness-based interventions and how they can enhance mentalizing abilities.
Tom Livni

Tom completed his B.A. in Psychology and Hebrew at Ben Gurion University of the Negev and M.A. in Clinical Psychology at the Hebrew University. Tom is interested in the role of psychological distance and construal level in the mentalizing process and its association with psychopathology.
Itamar Duek
M.A student
I am an M.A student in the Clinical Psychology Program at Bar Ilan University. I completed my B.A in Psychology and Philosophy at Tel Aviv University. I'm interested in the relations between borderline personality disorder (BPD) and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), as well as in new and innovative ways to treat BPD patients.
Lotte Fattakhov Neulander
M.A student
Lotte is a second-year Master's student in Clinical Psychology at Bar-Ilan University, having completed her Bachelor's degree in Psychology at the Open University of Israel. In the lab, she co-manages the research questionnaire system and coordinates the EDA (Electrodermal Activity) analysis team. Her thesis research focuses on validating a mentalization assessment measure.
Dasi Weiss
M.A student
I am an MA student in Clinical Psychology. I also completed my B.A. in Psychology at Bar Ilan. I am mainly interested in examining the connections between lack of self-clarity (which is one of the characteristics of borderline personality disorder) and feelings of emptiness (which may lead to suicidality or acts of self-harm).
Ruth Booton

I completed my B.A at Bar-Illan University and currently I am a first-year graduate student in clinical psychology at Colman College.
In the laboratory, I am taking part in the daily mentalizing study, which aims to understand the mentalization processes in the lives of individuals with BPD, by using momentary assessment.
